The Aim of the Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Understanding Human Anatomy and Physiology (RQF) is to provide you with the key knowledge and understanding of human anatomy and physiology required for a range of roles across the health, beauty, and fitness sectors.
I haven't studies for years, am I capable?

We understand that returning to education can seem daunting, however, can assure you that you're not alone. Whilst we can't do the work for you, we can support you with your learning style to ensure you have the best possible opportunity.
How will this qualification be assessed?

There is a task for each unit of knowledge. Within each section, there is an area for you to download a Word template and an image bank to embed the diagrams to help you provide the required evidence. You may, however, not have the software 'Word; on your computer, so to overcome this barrier, I have created a shared folder in GDrive for you to use Google Docs instead. You can also use the application 'Pages' on an iMac or iPad; download and print the assignment sheets, which you can scan and upload, or post to your allocated assessor if that's easier.
Is there a time limit on the course?

You have unlimited access to this program so you can re-visit at any time. We suggest 12 months to complete the qualification, however, if you need more then all you have to do is ask, there's no extra cost like some online courses.
How long will it take me to complete the course?

A great deal depends on how much time you can dedicate to your learning and any previous knowledge. There are many lessons, some are very short & sweet, others more in-depth.
Do I need a computer to take this course?

Whilst it is possible to complete this course entirely through a tablet or phone, you will find it easier to complete the assignments via a computer, however, this should not be a barrier. If you need to complete the assignments through hard copy papers, then this can be arranged.
I want to achieve a regulated qualification, can I do this at home too?

Yes, you can. The qualification is assessed through the online learning multiple choice questions and the written assignments.
Is this course insurable?

Yes, and many insurance brokers are asking for a regulated anatomy & physiology qualification to support accredited training.
English isn't my first language, can it be translated?

This is an English qualification and therefore, must be completed in English, however, we do have multi-national mentors, so we aim to be able to support you through this learning.
