to make sure you know everything you need to??

This resource has everything you need.

Each unit contains

  • Know what you need to know

Syllabus and glossary of terms, so you know exactly what it is that you need to know.

  • Workbook

A workbook which will act as a revision guide - diagrams to label & charts to complete.

  • Multiple choice questions

Multiple choice questions, diagrams & mini-quizzes.

FAQ

  • I'm studying the VTCT course - will this still cover the same information?

Both City & Guilds & VTCT use the "core curriculum" as the basis of their qualifications so the knowledge requirement is the same.

  • Are the questions similar to the ones we will get in the exam?

Very similar - They have been written by a trained examinations consultant.

  • Is there a pass mark?

Each unit requires an 80% pass to achieve the completion certificate, however, you can do the tests as many times as you like.

  • How many questions are there?

This varies between the units but is between 44-134. Over 800 questions.

  • Can I use the workbook towards my qualification.

Depending on the procedures in place for your training organisation, this may be possible.

Director of training at Phoenix Louise Phoenix Searles

I’ve been involved with education & training since 1993 as a college lecturer, examiner & lead verifier with City & Guilds. Since 2001, I have been fortunate enough to help many people gain a ‘Career after Children’ creating flexible learning plans incorporating the units they would like to study. My main focus is on enhancing the quality of the learner’s journey, whilst meeting the industry’s needs and expectations to create a quality provision. Therapy Learning Resources is an extension of the provision that I first developed to help our adult learners embrace the complexities of gaining regulated qualifications whilst not compromising the support to their families.

I love to teach! To impart my skills and knowledge into creating well-rounded, professional therapists gives me a buzz. I believe that when we learn as adults we bring a wealth of life-skills to the learning journey and I use this experience and build on it. My style of teaching is to make students think…. And find their own answer. I facilitate - guiding students to come to their own conclusions to empower their learning. My lessons are fun and very interactive. Students are encouraged to contribute their own thoughts and ideas as, in that way, we can learn from each other. When learning a new skill, there are guidelines but I encourage and positively applaud students having a personal take on a skill, finding their own way of doing something that will make them stand out. I believe at the end of their journey with me students will be able to go out into the world as well-rounded, skilled, professional therapists and establish a well-being business.

I would highly recommend this course! It was an absolute God-send to me whilst revising A&P. I don't think I could have passed without it. I found watching and listening to the videos on all the body systems, a great way to learn and much easier than reading from a book. The additional activities and mini revision tests were also a great way to review and test your knowledge. Definitely 5 Stars from me!
