Mental Health First Aider
This course provides the skills to have a non-judgemental conversation, recognise the sigs and symptoms of common mental health issues and effectively guide a person towards the right mental health support.

Each unit is divided into bite size lessons. You can work through at your own pace and if you need help don't forget your tutor is always on hand.

We understand that returning to education can be daunting, however, we can assure you that you're not alone. wWhilst we can't do the work for you, we can support you throughout and adapt where necessary to suit your unique learning style. You will be given the best possible opportunity to succeed.
There is for this course. You have 6 weeks to complete the course and the assessment. If you think you will need longer, contact your tutor who can assist you.
There is an assessment for this course. It is a combination of multi choice questions and full answer questions, there is also a practical test.
There is a fee of £30 for a re-sit although we don't think you will need it.
We understand that you are not actually going to be in a classroom, and this can be difficult. If you find you are struggling contact your tutor who will help you devise a plan that will help keep you on track.
Yes, we can always help and support you. Make sure you discuss any specific needs with your tutor who will be able to assist you with an individual plan, and provide any support that you need.
