I love to teach! To impart my skills and knowledge into creating well-rounded, professional therapists gives me a buzz. I believe that when we learn as adults we bring a wealth of life-skills to the learning journey and I use this experience and build on it. My style of teaching is to make students think…. And find their own answer. I facilitate - guiding students to come to their own conclusions to empower their learning. My lessons are fun and very interactive. Students are encouraged to contribute their own thoughts and ideas as, in that way, we can learn from each other. When learning a new skill, there are guidelines but I encourage and positively applaud students having a personal take on a skill, finding their own way of doing something that will make them stand out. I believe at the end of their journey with me students will be able to go out into the world as well-rounded, skilled, professional therapists and establish a well-being business.

I have completed the Massage Master Course in February 2020. During my online learning I was using laptop, tablet and sometimes my phone. The course is very well thought through and designed to suit every learning style. The audio recordings aligned with text and pictures make this combination a fantastic tool to gain knowledge and understanding easier than any other course I have done thus far. On top of that every module has number of exercises and tests to solidify every topic before the final assessment. If you are looking for a diverse learning resources that are fun and capturing rather than boring and unmotivating, this is a perfect course for you.

Why become a massage therapist?

We call this the 'Martini' course - any time, any place, anywhere.... Massage is a universally recognised profession.

  • Flexibility

Flexibility is something that many other career choices lack. If you’re the type of person who doesn’t want to get stuck working the mundane 9-5, massage can be a great solution. Once you qualify, you can find very flexible work as a massage therapist. There is a wide variety of places to work and scheduling possibilities as a massage therapist. It can be a great career choice for people who want to make a living while still having time to do other things that they love.

  • Environment

Many people have experienced working in a less than ideal environment. With massage therapy, this can be much less of a concern. One of the main goals of massage therapy is to take people from the high stress of daily life to an atmosphere where they can relax and release tension. Imagine working in an atmosphere where the main goal is to reduce stress and increase relaxation. That’s what massage therapists do every day!

  • Helping

Whether it’s relaxation or healing, massage therapy can help people feel better. Massage can help increase overall health and balance within the body and as a massage therapist, you can be an instrument in this process. Knowing that you are playing a role in helping people release stress and feeling better about their health can be extremely rewarding. If you’re the type of person who enjoys helping others, massage therapy may be a great fit.
